大戟屬多肉質灌木，莖直立多分枝，株高可達5m。莖直徑約5至7cm，肥厚多肉，具3~4稜，表面光滑有白色和灰綠色大理石狀花紋。傷口會泌出白色乳汁。互生橢圓形葉，直徑0.3~0.4cm，只短暫存在嫩莖上。稜上有刺成對，長0.2~0.6cm。花黃綠色，園藝栽培罕見開花。本種是帝錦的白化變種，植株變成白色。

A succulent shrub of the genus Euphorbia. It has erect stems and multiple branches up to 5 m in height. Stem about 5-7 cm in diameter, thick and fleshy, with 3 to 4 ribs, surface smooth with white and gray-green marble-like patterns. White latex secreted from wounds. Leaves alternate, oval-shaped, 0.3-0.4 cm in diameter, briefly borne on new shoots. Spines in pairs on the ribs, 0.2-0.6 cm in length. Flowers yellow-green, horticultural cultivars rarely flowering. This species is an albino variant of Euphorbia lactea Haw.

栽培：全日照通風環境下可生長良好。高溫生長期可觀察介質乾就澆水。介質須排水良好，可在砂質壤土或於培養土中混入粗砂、細石等材料以增加重量來支撐植物。因為莖質地較軟，露地栽培須注意強風吹襲，必要時立支柱支撐。

This plants thrive in full sun and airy conditions. Water when the soil appears dry in the warm growing seasons. The plants prefer well-draining soils mixed with coarse sand and fine stone and others in the sandy loam or the culture soil to add the weight to support the plants. Be careful with the soft stem, protect it from strong wind for open field cultivation, and if necessary, put up stakes to support it.

白色的造型在仙人掌與多肉植物中較為少見。單盆種植或作為組合盆材料都很適合，能夠突顯本身存在感又能襯托其他多肉植物。

The white appearance is rare among cacti and succulents. Suitable to plant alone or with other plants as a combination pot which highlights its presence and set off other succulents.
