毬蘭屬多年生蔓性草本，原產寮國、柬埔寨。全株有細絨毛。莖綠色，新長時較為直挺，隨成長後逐漸四散生長，莖上會發出氣生根，藉以攀爬附著樹幹上生長。對生葉片心型或卵形，葉長約3~5㎝、寬約2~3㎝。繖形花序自葉腋伸出，每花序10~20朵花，花冠白色有絨毛，副花冠紅色至粉紅色，花徑約0.5㎝，開花期秋季，花朵芳香濃郁。

An evergreen vine-like shrub in the genus Hoya, native to Laos and Cambodia. The whole plant is coated with fine hairs. Stem green and straight when young and gradually droop and spread with age. Aerial roots borne from the stem allowing the plant to affix and climb on the trunk. Leaves opposite, heart-shaped or ovoid, 3~5cm long and 2~3cm wide. Umbels extended from the leaf axils, each inflorescence bears 10-20 flowers, corolla white, hairy; corona red to pink, flower about 0.5 cm in diameter, fragrant, blooming in autumn.

適合不受烈日曝曬的明亮處種植，高溼度環境可以促進生長，但整體生長速度仍較其他種類毬蘭緩慢。介質乾就澆水，隨時於枝葉上噴水對生長有幫助。肥料可美隔兩周噴一次綜合性液體肥料或每季施用一次長效性肥料。繁殖採用扦插法，於溫暖期施行。

best grown in bright-lit positions, avoid direct sun exposure. High moisture can promote growth, but it still grows slower than other Hoya plants. Water once the medium is dry, spray water on the branches and leaves at any time to help growth. Apply a compound liquid fertilizer every two weeks or a slow-release fertilizer every season. Propagated from cuttings, carried out in warm seasons.

適合作為吊盆懸掛栽培或使用較高的盆器種植，以欣賞四散垂曳的枝葉與花朵。開花時可暫時移入室內明亮通風處欣賞聞香，但勿久置室內以免花朵急遽凋謝。花序柄會持續開花，切勿剪除。

It is suitable to grow in hanging pots or in taller containers to display the drooping branches and flowers. When blooming, move it to a bright and aerated indoor location to enjoy the posture and fragrance, but don't keep it indoors for a long time, otherwise the flowers will wither rapidly. The inflorescence stalk will continue to bloom, so do not cut it off.
