鳳尾蕨屬多年生草本，是廣佈於亞洲、大洋洲的箭葉鳳尾蕨的園藝品種。植株叢生，具匍匐性根狀莖。羽狀複葉，對生羽片3~6對，羽片長倒卵形至闊披針形，葉面中央沿主脈兩側帶有一條縱向銀白斑。葉分營養葉及生殖葉二型，營養葉羽片較寬，生殖葉羽片較細窄。孢子囊群位於羽片或小羽片邊緣。

A perennial herb in the genus Pteris. This is a cultivar of sword brake fern which is widely distributed in Asia and Oceania. Growing in clumps, with decumbent rhizomes. Fronds pinnately compound, with 3-6 pairs of opposite pinnae, long obovate to broad lanceolate, with a longitudinal silver-white marking along the midrib. The fronds are divided into two types: vegetative fronds and fertile fronds; vegetative pinnae wider while fertile ones slender. Sori located on the edge of pinnae or small pinnae.

喜溫暖、濕潤和半陰環境，適宜在肥沃、排水良好的介質中生長。夏季高溫時應注意通風良好，並防止強光直射，以免葉片乾枯焦黃。採分株繁殖。

The plant likes warm, humid and semi-shade environments, and grows better in fertile and well-drained medium. The fronds are subject to the damage of direct sun, make sure the planting location is well-ventilated and sheltered from direct sunlight in hot summer to avoid sun scald. Propagated from ramets.

可作庭園地被植物、小品盆栽、組合盆栽。葉可當插花材料。

It can be used as garden groundcover, planted in small pots or mixed planters. The fronds can be used for flower arrangement.
