鳳尾蕨屬多年生常綠蕨類，是廣佈於歐、亞、非洲的大葉鳳尾蕨的斑葉園藝品種。根狀莖短；葉簇生，有兩型，葉面中央有寬大的白色斑紋，一回羽狀。營養葉的羽片3~5對，羽片較寬，長10~18cm，寬1~2cm，葉緣有鋸齒；孢子葉的羽片線形，長12~25cm，寬0.5~1.2cm，先端漸尖有銳鋸齒。

A perennial evergreen fern in the genus Pteris. This is a variegated cultivar of Pteris nervosa Thunb, widely distributed in Europe, Asia and Africa. Rhizomes short; fronds clustered with broad white markings in the center, and pinnate. Vegetative fronds with 3-5 pairs of broad pinnae, 10-18 cm long, and 1-2 cm wide, margin serrated; fertile fronds linear, 12-25 cm long and 0.5-1.2 cm wide, apex tapering with sharp teeth.

半日照下生長良好，喜歡空氣潮濕的環境。如果環境較乾燥，會影響幼葉的發育。對水分有著較為嚴格的要求，盆土不宜過度潮濕或乾燥。採用孢子繁殖。

It grows well under partial-sun and prefers humid conditions as the young fronds don’t respond well to dry conditions. Soil moisture content is critical for the plant growth; the potting soil can’t be too wet or too dry. Propagated from spores.

因其葉片色彩較為豐富，可以用於半日照環境的造景或組合盆栽作品中。
