粗肋草多年生草本，園藝雜交種。肉質莖直立，綠至淺綠色，葉痕明顯。互生長卵形葉，葉面綠色，有大面積分散的粉紅色斑紋。白色佛焰花序卵形，雌雄異花。漿果橢圓形，成熟果實紅色。

A perennial herb in the genus Aglaonema. This is a horticultural hybrid. Stem fleshy and erect, green to pale green, with obvious leaf scars. Leaves alternate, long ovate, green, with widely-scattered pink patches. Spadix white and oval, Monoecious. Berries oval and red when ripe.

耐陰性強，中、低光度環境即可。就算是在光線微弱的地方，粗肋草也還能夠生存，但若要粗肋草葉片上紅色斑紋更鮮豔，就需要把粗肋草放在不受日曬的明亮處。介質需排水良好且富含有機質。以分株、扦插或組織培養繁殖。

The plant is highly tolerant to shade and able to grow under medium and low intensity of light. If brighter red markings are desired, place it in a well-lit location without direct sun exposure. Well-drained medium rich in organic matter is preferred. Propagated by ramets, cuttings or tissue culture.

葉色繽紛明亮，是室內環境少見的彩葉植物，可作室內或遮蔭地的地被植物、室內綠化盆栽或組合盆栽材料。

Featuring with brightly colorful leaves, it’s a rare variegated houseplant, suitable for the use as groundcover indoors or in shaded areas, planted in a pot individually or in a big container mixed with other plants.
