種植於全日照環境，介質排水要好。修剪於落葉期，以過密枝、徒長枝等不良枝為主。夏季要注意簑衣蟲危害。繁殖使用播種、嫁接、空中壓條與扦插法。

The plant grows well in a full sun environment and well-drained medium. Advised to perform pruning the congested or overlong branches during deciduous period. Beware of the damage of bagworms in summers. It can be reproduced from seeds, grafting, air layering and cuttings.
