虎尾蘭屬多年生草本，原種產於非洲東部與中部，本種是葉緣有黃斑的園藝品種。地下有粗壯匍匐根莖。葉肥厚扁平，劍形直立，綠色有深綠橫斑紋，葉緣黃邊。總狀花序，花白色有香味，夏季開花。漿果球狀，成熟橘紅色。

A perennial herb in the genus Sansevieria whose parental species is native to eastern and central Africa. This cultivar has distinctive yellow spots on the leaf margin. Rhizomes sturdy and prostrate. Leaves thick and flat, sword-like and upright, blade green with dark green horizontal stripes, margined yellow. Racemes, flowers white and fragrant, flowering in summer. Berries spherical, ripe orange-red.

全日照或半日照溫暖環境，排水良好的介質都能種植，耐風、耐污染，能耐長時間的乾旱。以分株繁殖為主，扦插繁殖無法遺傳到黃邊的特徵。

The plant grows in a warm environment with full sun or partial sun and prefers well-drained medium; resistant to wind, tolerant to pollution and long-term drought. Reproduced from ramets only as cutting propagation cannot pass along the characteristics of yellow margin.

葉片造型特殊、葉色明亮，適宜作庭園地被植物、綠籬或室內盆栽。原種在非洲原住民使用其葉片的纖維製作弓弦。切葉可供插花使用。

Featuring with a unique leaf shape and bright leaf colors, it’s suitably grown as a garden groundcover, hedge or in an indoor pot. Indigenous Africans used the leaf fibers to make bowstrings. The leaf cuttings can be used as flower arranging material.
