疣仙人掌屬的多肉植物，原產於墨西哥。為了儲存水分演化成圓柱狀形，高10~20cm，直徑3cm。一般為單莖，老株會從基部分生成多莖形。褐色中刺1支，長0.5cm；白色側刺18~20支，長0.2~0.3cm。桃紅色花環狀排列於莖端，形似花圈。開花期春季。

A succulent plant in the genus Mammillaria, native to Mexico. In order to store water, it has evolved into a cylindrical shape with a height of 10 to 20 cm and a diameter of 3 cm. Most of them have a solitary stem, and diverge to multiple stems from the base when ageing. Central spine brown and 0.5cm long; 18~20 white radial spines about 0.2~0.3cm long. Pink flowers are arranged annularly on the tip of the stem, like a garland. Flowering in spring.

全日照通風環境下可生長良好，日照充足時可促進開花，炎夏時切勿讓植株曝曬，以免產生日燒等曬傷跡象。為防止爛根等情形，種植時需採用排水透氣的介質。內裏玉相較於其他仙人掌而言，莖柔軟較無支撐力，生長到一定高度時便開始倒伏。繁殖使用播種法。

The plant enjoys full-sun and ventilated environments. Sufficient sun exposure can promote flowering but direct exposure in hot summer will cause marks of sunburn. Planted in well-drained and breathable medium soil to prevent roots from rotting. Compared with other cacti, the plant is softer and tends to recline when elongating. Propagated by seeding.

Easy to grow flowers, the plant is often cultivated in small pots, or mixed with other succulents. Valued for the unique shape, it’s often chosen to present in plant promotion programs which carry out ornamental breeding competitions as well as used in special landscape layout and floral combination potted plants. It has an indispensable role to home greening and landscaping
