原產歐洲、亞洲和北非。常綠多年生藤本觀葉植物。莖半木質化，多分枝，莖上有氣生根。葉互生，革質，油綠光滑；葉有兩型：營養枝之葉呈三角形狀、卵形或戟形，常三淺裂或全緣；結果枝之葉橢圓狀卵形，全緣。花多數，常15~20枚形成一繖形花序，然後由繖形花序排列成頂生的總狀花序。秋季開花。果為漿果狀核果，球形，熟時黑色或藍黑色。

Native in Europe, Asia and North Africa. An evergreen perennial vine foliage ornamental. Stem is semi-lignified and multi-branched with aerial roots on the stem. Leaves alternate, leathery, glossy green and smooth; two leaf types: leaves on sterile stems are triangular, oval or halberd-like, often 3-lobed or entire; leaves on fertile stems are oval-ovate and entire. Flowers are numerous, often 15-20, forming an umbrella-shaped inflorescence arranged into terminal racemes. Flowering in autumn. Fruit is a berry-like drupe, spherical, ripe black or blue-black.

喜歡比較冷涼的氣候，耐寒力較強。忌高溫悶熱的環境，氣溫在30℃以上會生長停滯。對光照要求不嚴格，在直射的陽光下或光照不足的室內都能生長發育。以扦插繁殖為主。

It’s a winter hardy plant and can’t withstand hot and sultry environment. Growth stagnant when the temperatures is over 30 °C. Not highly strict to light, they can thrive in direct sunlight or indoors with insufficient light. Mainly propagated by cuttings.
